They may call it June gloom, but my garden loves the overcast skies and cool weather! A few weeks ago I pulled out the snarl of sweet peas and Fernie helped me plant some corn. The garden is south of the house, so I'm hoping they grow tall and shade the house. And those tomatoes we planted in April? They're loaded, and a few even have fruit ripening! And as ever, we are awash in strawberries ("stwabessies" as Fernie calls them). The kids pluck them while they play on the lawn after nap-times. Heaven, right?
Looks great! I wish our tomatoes looked like that...hopefully they will in a month or so.
